About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and management of projects with industry partners from acquisition through planning to execution (e.g., production and process planning, prototyping, and strategy development in the field of e-mobility).
  • Investigation of compelling questions related to “battery production,” with a focus on developing innovative process technologies for current and next‑generation batteries.
  • Development of prototypes and new monitoring, manufacturing, and testing methods as part of research and industry projects.
  • Supervision of students on their theses and delivery of lectures and seminars.
  • Responsibility for budget management and leadership.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree (Master’s or equivalent) in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering).
  • Ideally, initial practical experience in consulting, development, production, or e‑mobility.
  • A proactive drive to develop new topics and to make use of available scope for shaping projects.
  • Structured and reliable working style, creative and pragmatic thinking, curiosity, and strong motivation to continuously learn.
  • High willingness to travel and flexibility.
  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
