About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You contribute to the professional implementation of construction measures and the execution of projects.
- You are responsible for the planning and design of systems and room automation systems.
- You coordinate with project managers, specialist planners, clients/owners and contractors.
- You are involved in projects from the site survey through schematic and construction drawings to as-built/revision drawings across all HOAI phases.
- You produce automation schematics and functional lists in accordance with VDI 6040.
- You contribute your innovative ideas to deliver high-quality, energy- and cost-efficient room automation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in building services/plant engineering (Versorgungstechnik), MSR (measurement, control & regulation) technology, electrical engineering or a comparable discipline — alternatively a certified technician in these fields.
- Initial experience in building automation and an understanding of heating, ventilation, sanitary or air-conditioning systems (HVAC/plumbing).
- Interest in network protocols and bus systems used in building automation.
- Experience in preparing tenders and awarding engineering and construction contracts.
- Familiarity with HOAI, VOB, VOL and relevant standards.
- Advantage: experience with TRIC, iTwo, Orca AVA, AutoCAD, Revit & BIM.
- Business-fluent German and strong communication skills at all levels.
