About the role
- Conduct speech-language evaluations for pediatric patients with complex medical and developmental needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve speech, language, feeding, and swallowing abilities
- Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate therapy sessions tailored to each child's goals
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with PPEC and state regulations
- Educate and coach families on therapeutic strategies, home practice activities, and communication support techniques
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during care planning and progress reviews
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, clinical standards, and ethical practices
Requirements
- Current state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Prefer 1 year of pediatric experience (PPEC, early intervention, or medically fragile population experience preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Current CPR certification and ability to pass a Level II background screening
