About the role

  • Develop and maintain applications in Python 3;
  • Work with spreadsheets in MS Excel and libraries such as openpyxl;
  • Develop web applications with Django;
  • Manage SQL databases;
  • Create and maintain REST APIs;
  • Collaborate with the team.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python 3;
  • Strong logical thinking and object-oriented programming skills;
  • Proficiency with MS Excel;
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet manipulation libraries (openpyxl / pandas);
  • Experience with Python web framework Django;
  • Knowledge of SQL databases;
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and consuming REST APIs;
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Experience with MySQL (nice to have);
  • Experience using Git for version control (nice to have);
  • Experience administering and configuring Linux servers (nice to have);
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (nice to have);
  • Experience managing ports and virtualized networks (nice to have);
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (nice to have);
  • Comfort with mathematics and statistics (nice to have);
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks / Test-Driven Development (TDD) (nice to have);
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies (nice to have);
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and data engineering (nice to have).
