About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, installing and replacing components or entire systems
- Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on generators to ensure proper readiness
- Reading and following blueprints or other design specifications to install or repair
- Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and other components
- Responding promptly/timely to Power/Generator alarms and being on call 24/7 if necessary
- Performing work with awareness of all potential hazards connected with the installation and maintenance of power supply equipment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Two or more years of experience with generator maintenance is preferred
- A minimum of one year of intense work-related experience with generator and electrical maintenance-related software, hardware, and processes
- Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair of Generators
- Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components
- Moderate computer skills
- Basic knowledge of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations
