About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, installing and replacing components or entire systems
Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on generators to ensure proper readiness
Reading and following blueprints or other design specifications to install or repair
Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and other components
Responding promptly/timely to Power/Generator alarms and being on call 24/7 if necessary
Performing work with awareness of all potential hazards connected with the installation and maintenance of power supply equipment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Two or more years of experience with generator maintenance is preferred
A minimum of one year of intense work-related experience with generator and electrical maintenance-related software, hardware, and processes
Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair of Generators
Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components
Moderate computer skills
Basic knowledge of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations
