About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, installing and replacing components or entire systems
  • Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on generators
  • Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls
  • Responding promptly to Power/Generator alarms; ability to be on call 24/7
  • Performing work with the awareness of all potential hazards connected with the installation and maintenance of power supply equipment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Two or more years of experience with generator maintenance is preferred
  • Minimum of one year of intense work-related experience with generator and electrical maintenance-related software, hardware, and processes
  • Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair
  • Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components
  • Basic knowledge of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations
