About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install electrical equipment such as small rack-mounted UPS equipment, various-sized batteries, and UPS/Battery monitoring equipment.
Maintain Battery Cabinets and racks, Maintenance Bypass, Battery Monitoring Equipment, DC Systems, and other electrical equipment.
Perform remedial services, including failure analysis and troubleshooting, component replacements and repairs, and battery string replacements and installations.
Provide excellent customer service and upsell products.
Field troubleshooting calls from customers to a satisfactory resolution.
Quickly respond to critical situations.
Teach and mentor crew members on proper techniques for site work.
Isolate hardware, software, and interface malfunctions using test equipment.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Prior military training in electronics or avionics preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years serving in a third-party critical power field service or technical support role -OR- minimum of five (5) years serving in an OEM service environment.
Good understanding of AC/DC electrical principles.
Knowledge of test equipment operation (multi-meters, battery test equipment).
Read and interpret electronics schematics.
Understand compliance with FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations and standards.
Outstanding work ethic, punctuality, trustworthiness, and reliability.
Good judgment and ability to make timely decisions in fast-paced environments.
