About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Aggressively prospect and build pipeline across target energy storage accounts
- Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close and account expansion
- Build, manage, and convert opportunities including MSAs, RFPs, service contracts, and spot work
- Partner closely with operations and leadership to develop solutions, pricing, and proposals
- Drive disciplined follow-up, pipeline management, and forecasting in Salesforce
- Expand existing customer relationships through cross-sell and upsell opportunities
- Develop new logos while growing relationships within Pearce’s existing customer network
- Represent Pearce at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings
- Operate with urgency, accountability, and strong commercial discipline
- Consistently deliver against revenue growth, pipeline generation, and deal velocity targets
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of sales experience with at least 2 years in energy storage, solar, renewables, or adjacent energy markets
- Proven track record of building pipeline and closing new business opportunities
- Experience with outbound sales motions including prospecting, account mapping, and multi-threading
- Strong commercial acumen including pricing, margin awareness, and contract structures such as MSAs, NDAs, and RFPs
- Working understanding of utility-scale solar and/or energy storage operations and service environments
- Highly organized with disciplined CRM management skills, preferably Salesforce
- Relentless with follow-through and customer responsiveness
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with evolving solutions and high expectations
- Low ego, high accountability, and coachable mindset
- Driven sales professional looking to grow and make a direct impact on company performance
