About the role
- Required to supervise field work onsite focusing on Safety, Quality, and Efficiency.
- Support lifting operations of equipment at heights over 250’.
- Required to coach/conduct team members on rigging applications/inspections.
- Coach/conduct safe and efficient repairs to all Wind Turbine electrical systems.
- Detailed knowledge and skill in generators, converters, controllers, and electrical equipment.
- Coach/train personnel on how to perform proper isolation of electrical components (LOTO).
- Ability to read and interpret schematics by various Wind Turbine manufacturers.
- Will be required to have the ability to recognize MAJOR faults and develop corrective actions with engineering team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 YEARS direct product experience on one or more platforms.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics by various Wind Turbine manufacturers.
- Proficient in using dial calipers, fluke meters, and all other tools used on WTG.
- Experience with SCADA and other monitoring tools for WTG.
- Attention to detail and safety focused.
- Travel up to 75% of the time.
- Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
