Head of Sales & Marketing

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You develop and own the sales & marketing strategy — from brand positioning to revenue growth.
- You lead, motivate and develop your team of sales and marketing managers and foster a strong team culture.
- You manage lead generation (inbound & outbound), build a scalable lead pipeline, and develop data-driven campaigns for sustainable new customer acquisition.
- You personally handle operational sales processes — from consultation and proposal creation to negotiation and contract closing.
- You optimize the lead-nurturing process and ensure that marketing and sales campaigns work seamlessly together.
- You drive our inbound activities across social media, newsletters and performance campaigns, and own external communications on all channels.
- You work closely with executive leadership to develop growth strategies and translate them into concrete measures for market and revenue development.
- You use KPIs and CRM data to make successes measurable, optimize processes and make data-driven decisions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have several years of leadership experience in sales, marketing or business development, ideally in a digital or agency-adjacent environment.
- You take disciplinary responsibility and lead teams with clarity, motivation and a focus on goals.
- You think strategically and entrepreneurially and make decisions based on KPIs and growth targets.
- You are familiar with digital marketing solutions, B2B sales, and both inbound and outbound lead generation.
- You have experience developing and implementing integrated sales & marketing strategies.
- You work in a data-driven way and use CRM systems to manage and optimize your processes.
- You communicate clearly and persuasively and can explain complex topics in an understandable way.
- You spot digital market trends early and translate them into opportunities for growth and partnerships.
- You have excellent German and English skills and operate confidently in an international environment.
