About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and develop digital and mixed-signal electronic systems for embedded hardware platforms
  • Develop hardware architectures, schematics, interface circuits, and subsystem designs
  • Perform component selection, circuit analysis, and design optimization
  • Review PCB layouts for signal integrity, power integrity, manufacturability, and reliability
  • Design and integrate high-speed interfaces including PCIe, DDR3/DDR4/DDR5, Ethernet, USB, and SerDes
  • Design PSUs for different power rails and RF interfaces
  • Conduct pre-layout and post-layout design analysis
  • Perform SPICE-based circuit simulations and signal integrity and power integrity analysis
  • Support worst-case analysis, timing verification, and design margin assessment
  • Lead board bring-up, debugging, and system integration activities
  • Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot hardware issues
  • Execute functional, environmental, reliability, safety, and compliance testing
  • Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and related laboratory equipment
  • Document validation plans, test procedures, and verification results
  • Support manufacturing transfer and production ramp activities
  • Resolve field and production hardware issues
  • Lead failure analysis and corrective action investigations
  • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams
  • Provide technical guidance to engineers, designers, and technicians

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Expertise in digital and mixed-signal electronic design
  • Experience designing embedded electronic hardware systems
  • Knowledge of hardware architectures, schematics, interface circuits, and subsystem designs
  • Component selection, circuit analysis, and design optimization expertise
  • Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, manufacturability, and reliability
  • Experience with PCIe, DDR3/DDR4/DDR5, Ethernet, USB, and SerDes
  • Experience designing PSUs for different power rails and RF interfaces
  • Proficiency with SPICE-based circuit simulations and industry-standard design software
  • Knowledge of timing verification, worst-case analysis, and design margin assessment
  • Experience with board bring-up, debugging, and system integration
  • Ability to perform functional, environmental, reliability, safety, and compliance testing
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and related laboratory equipment
  • Ability to lead failure analysis, corrective action investigations, manufacturing transfer, and production ramp activities
  • Immediate availability
