Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Science, or related field
0–3 years in functional safety engineering (robotics, automotive, heavy machinery, or agri-equipment)
Hands-on experience with STPA
Strong grasp of functional safety standards
Risk analysis methods: STPA, FMEA, FTA
Knowledge of safety lifecycle processes & integrity levels
Analytical & problem-solving skills for safety/compliance issues
Detail-oriented with strong documentation/reporting abilities
Ability to evaluate safety data & conduct risk assessments
Leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams
Clear communication & presentation skills for leadership, customers, and regulators.
