About the role
- Install, configure, maintain, and support DB2 on RHEL Linux
- Develop or provide input to DB2 solution design, integrating DB2 and applications
- Design, Implement, and Operate business-critical DB2 solutions
- Manage DB2 deployment at the engineering level
- Document and implement highly available, scalable, standardized, and fault-tolerant DB2 solutions
- Migrate DB2 databases and support DB2 in the Cloud
Requirements
- Strong, versatile DB2 DBA with expertise installing, configuring, maintaining and supporting DB2 on RHEL Linux
- Experience developing or providing input to DB2 solution design, integrating DB2 and applications
- Experience in the Design, Implementation, and Operations of business-critical DB2 solutions
- DB2 deployment experience and ability to solution at the engineering level
- Experience in solutioning, documenting, and implementing highly available, scalable, standardized, and fault-tolerant DB2 solutions
- Experience with DB2 Databases migrations
- Experience with migrating and supporting DB2 in the Cloud would be preferred
