About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage a team of Engineers responsible for the timely and high quality delivery of a product or project
Leads the team in daily tasks, prioritizing tasks and making decisions based on changing business priorities
Structures and facilitates team workflow and development and operational processes
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and reflect them in the team’s technical requirements
Conduct 1-on-1s and performance evaluations with team members, takes responsibility for team output, and facilitates team evolution and member growth
Plans future resource requirements and conducts recruiting activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Professional experience in a technical management or leadership role
Have a technical mindset and understand complex systems design
Be solutions oriented
Positive thinking and ability to maintain high performance in a fast-paced environment
Have excellent oral, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Business level in either English or Japanese (Native Japanese speaker or JLPT N1 equivalent)
