Machine Learning Engineer

• Design and develop ML solutions including personalization, recommendation, and ranking of deals and promotion across Brands and surfaces
• Set technical direction of team and build/define next generation shopping discovery recommendation engine leveraging PayPal’s two-sided network
• Develop and implement advanced ML frameworks such as graph neural networks and deep learning models for recommendation, personalization, shopping ranking and recommendations
• Design and deploy scalable generative AI solutions and scalable AI solutions that enhance customer experience
• Work closely with engineering group and PayPal's Platforms organization to deploy solutions
• Communicate complex concepts and model results to technical and non-technical audiences and influence partners
• Shape architecture and bring alignment across platform teams on MLOps flows
• Influence team direction and bring state-of-the-art solutions to market
