About the role

Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems
Preprocess and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights
Build scalable ML pipelines and ensure data quality
Deploy ML solutions into production environments using appropriate tools and frameworks
Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed models
Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to integrate ML models into products and services
Mentor and support junior data scientists or engineers
Drive business insights and improve customer experiences through AI/ML solutions

Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (MSc preferred)
Experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Hands-on experience with Python or Java
Experience with Spark, Hadoop, BigQuery, SQL
Comprehensive understanding of machine learning algorithms and explainable AI techniques
Expertise in at least one: Computer Vision, Graph Mining, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or Generative AI (GenAI)
Experience developing machine learning models at scale from inception to business impact
Experience designing ML pipelines (model versioning, deployment, testing, monitoring)
Experience mentoring and supporting junior data scientists or engineers
Experience working in a multi-cultural and multi-location organization (advantageous)
Strong communication skills; team player; delivery- and detail-oriented
