About the role
- Deliver complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations)
- Advise immediate management on project-level issues and make technical decisions based on best practices
- Guide and mentor junior engineers on mobile testing best practices and frameworks
- Develop and implement mobile test frameworks for iOS and Android platforms
- Execute mobile automation strategies including native, hybrid, and mobile web testing
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integration for mobile testing across multiple device configurations and OS versions
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, execution reports, and quality assessments for mobile releases
- Design and implement automated testing solutions covering unit, integration, and end-to-end mobile testing
- Implement usability and accessibility testing programs ensuring WCAG compliance
- Implement internationalization testing strategies and device coverage testing across manufacturers and OS versions
- Support cross-platform testing initiatives and contribute to mobile testing standards and processes
- Implement mobile testing metrics and KPIs, create documentation and training materials, and support shift-left testing principles
- Execute mobile testing strategies for financial services compliance and support mobile testing governance
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience developing and implementing mobile test frameworks for iOS and Android
- Experience with mobile automation strategies (native, hybrid, mobile web)
- CI/CD pipeline integration experience for mobile testing
- Ability to develop test plans and automated testing for unit, integration, and end-to-end mobile testing
- Experience with usability testing and mobile accessibility testing (WCAG)
- Experience with internationalization/localization testing for mobile apps
- Knowledge of device coverage testing across manufacturers and OS versions
- Familiarity with cloud-based device testing platforms and device lab management
- Experience with testing in financial services or regulated industries
- Familiarity with advanced testing methodologies (model-based testing, property-based testing)
- Knowledge of mobile application analytics and user behavior testing
- Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
- Experience or willingness to experiment with AI-powered testing tools
