About the role
- Lead configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's network and security infrastructure to ensure high performance and reliability
- Architect and integrate networks across multiple business units and diverse cloud environments
- Champion Infrastructure as Code processes to automate and maintain infrastructure consistency and scalability
- Oversee configuration, deployment, and management of F5 Local Traffic Managers (LTMs) and Advanced Security Modules (ASMs)
- Create and implement strategies for integrating cloud VPCs, interconnects, and direct connects between on-premises and cloud environments
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance network scalability and resilience
- Work closely with infrastructure, application, and security teams to ensure network designs meet cross-functional requirements
- Lead functional projects requiring specialized expertise, resolve engineering challenges, and analyze business trends to inform practices
- Contribute to developing best practices in cloud engineering and support junior engineers in their projects
- Architect and manage Microsoft Teams, design and implement SharePoint Online solutions, and administer Exchange Online
- Leverage Microsoft 365 Copilot to enhance user experiences and streamline IT operations
- Develop and enforce Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange governance, compliance, and policies
- Provide expert-level M365 support, mentor junior engineers, and stay current with Microsoft's roadmap and updates
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Teams including voice routing, security, and compliance features
- Expertise in SharePoint Online administration, including site collection management and search configuration
- In-depth understanding of Exchange Online, including hybrid configurations, mail transport rules, and eDiscovery
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities
- Strong scripting/coding skills for automating tasks across Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration of M365 services
- Deep understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP/S
- Extensive experience with mail security technologies: DMARC, DKIM, SPF
- Strong understanding of Active Directory and EntraID
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code processes
- Experience configuring, deploying, and managing F5 LTMs and ASMs
- Experience designing and integrating cloud VPCs, interconnects, and direct connects
- Ability to architect networks across multiple business units and diverse cloud environments
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Mentoring or leadership experience supporting junior engineers
