About the role
- Business partnering with leaders and VPs and the other cross-functional teams located globally
- Build and retain a strong and effective team
- Oversee month-end close and reporting activities, forecast, variance analysis and reporting of operating expense (as well as Contra)
- Drive continuous process improvements both within the team and with the business
- Provide analysis and recommendations to leadership groups quickly and effectively to drive results
- Ensure strict adherence to corporate policies and GAAP regulations
- Partner with leadership on risk awareness for projects
- Develop key insights to provide finance senior leadership visibility into areas of risk
- Work within finance and technology partners to identify areas of opportunity for improvement
- Prepare and present results and forecasts to senior leaders
- Track and re-trend results against forecasts and budgets
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience overseeing forecasting, budgeting, month-end close, variance analysis, and reporting of operating expense
- Financial/deal modeling experience
- Performance measurement and reporting experience
- Experience driving continuous process improvements
- Ability to provide quick and effective analysis and recommendations to leadership
- Knowledge of corporate policies and GAAP regulations
- Experience partnering with senior leaders, VPs, and cross-functional teams globally
- Experience developing key insights and visibility into areas of risk
- Experience building and retaining a strong and effective team
- Ability to prepare and present results and forecasts to senior leaders
