About the role
- Drive product strategy with cross-functional stakeholders consistent with the shared vision for the product
- Plan and implement the architectural roadmap balancing innovation, technical implementation, regulatory requirements, time-to-market, customer needs, and profitability
- Assess customer experience and customer needs in product requirements and decision making
- Set up data gathering mechanisms and define metrics that inform product success, including usability studies, research and market analysis
- Lead workstreams including analytics, customer discovery, market research and competitive analysis to drive data-driven decision-making
- Oversee product profitability measures, including budget management
- Plan operational mechanisms driving execution and accountability (Product Reviews, Operating Reviews, Business Reviews)
- Interface with product leadership and partner with content strategists, data scientists, product designers and UX researchers
- Serve as a trusted expert for training and development; share knowledge of Enterprise Payments and PSP Platform systems with commercial and operational stakeholders
- Partner with Account Managers on large strategic deals; prepare narratives, influence merchant stakeholders, and collaborate with Solution Engineering for product integration
- Analyze and solve operational business/process problems related to Omnichannel processing uptake
- Foster cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Account Management, Finance, Go-to-Market, and Data Science
- Monitor industry trends in payment processing and document common merchant questions/challenges through the deal process
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred)
- Previous management experience
- Proven experience in the payments industry with a focus on global processing and Enterprise Payments
- Experience with Enterprise Payments processing and value added services; consultative mindset with merchants
- Strong analytical mindset and data-driven decision making; financial modeling experience is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to address complex operational challenges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and engage stakeholders informally
- Ability to guide and align diverse cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Merchant-centric innovation: translating complex merchant needs into scalable strategies
- Collaborative spirit and willingness to roll up sleeves to drive deals
- Expert in PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft suite
- Advanced degree preferred (optional)
