About the role

  • Oversee load balancers and troubleshoot client/server issues.
  • Handle outages and work with vendors.
  • Lead network design and architecture for cloud migration.
  • Support network system availability and compliance.
  • Implement operational procedures and best practices.
  • Offer on-call support and mentor team members.

Requirements

  • 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Istio, Linkerd, Consul Connect, or AWS App Mesh.
  • Proficient in Go or Python for automation/CLI tool development.
  • Practical knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and GitOps.
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/2, gRPC, TLS/mTLS, and network policies.
  • Experience with distributed tracing, metrics, log aggregation, SLI/SLO monitoring.
  • Advanced bash scripting, awk/sed usage, and system troubleshooting.
