About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle — intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer, and close — for roles across departments.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, develop job descriptions, and set realistic hiring timelines.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for high-volume or recurring roles (e.g., Sales, Collections, Client Success).
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, employee referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience from first contact through onboarding handoff.
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, pipeline health) to identify bottlenecks and improve process.
  • Manage relationships with external staffing agencies and recruiting vendors as needed.
  • Field employee questions on benefits, leaves of absence, and HR policies; coordinate with brokers and carriers to resolve issues.
  • Support open enrollment communications and employee benefits elections.
  • Assist with employee relations matters — including policy questions, performance conversations, and documentation — in partnership with the HR Manager.
  • Help keep HR records, the employee handbook, and HRIS data current and accurate.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4–7 years of progressive HR experience with a strong foundation in talent acquisition and at least 2 years of HR generalist responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruiting across multiple roles and departments simultaneously.
  • Hands-on experience with benefits administration including open enrollment, carrier coordination, and employee support.
  • Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters with discretion, fairness, and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with an ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, or similar) and HRIS platforms.
  • Familiarity with employment law fundamentals (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO) and HR compliance best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to build trust with employees at all levels.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a lean team environment with minimal oversight.
