About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supporting four issue area program teams based in four offices and three countries
Serve as a strategic thought partner and advanced project manager for PAX sapiens’ strategic external and internal communications.
Help issue area programs refine messaging and strategy in partnership with subject matter experts to reach priority stakeholders and audiences.
Core work includes website content and security maintenance, publication editing, design, layout, and production, social media strategy and posting, public relations, and managing communication contractors.
Support work with foundation staff to identify and place external media and op-eds that advance our communications goals.
Collaborate with the Strategic Learning program on impact measurement and reporting.
Support Operations and Human Resources.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 8 years' experience in Communications
Bachelor's in Communication, Marketing or a related field.
Or 10 years relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelors
Demonstrated project management experience and the ability to plan, budget, manage, and close projects on time and within budget.
Demonstrated experience in external organizational communications strategy and activities.
Deep familiarity with the full range of organizational communication role and capacities to a degree to allow the oversight of specialist contractor execution of these roles.
This includes social media outlets and strategy, document editing, design, and layout, and web design.
Demonstrated experience working internationally and across cultures in culturally sensitive and appropriate ways.
