About the role
- Prepare detailed shipping documents for international and domestic shipments of wholesale dairy products.
- Organize and schedule shipments with warehouses, trucking companies, and final customers.
- Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments to ensure timely and efficient logistics operations.
- Prioritize and promptly respond to emails from stakeholders, including warehouses, suppliers, and customers.
- Analyze global dairy, grains, currency, and energy markets and update charts, graphs, and tables in Microsoft Excel for USDA reports.
- Generate leads for agricultural farmers and individuals turning 65 enrolling in Medicare; prepare personalized emails and quotes.
- Schedule meetings and phone calls with customers to discuss products and services.
- Prepare and execute postcard and email campaigns, newsletters, and update social media accounts such as Facebook and Twitter.
- Organize and manage ongoing marketing campaigns to promote products and services effectively.
- Coordinate with trucking firms, freight brokers, warehouses, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth logistics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in administrative roles, logistics coordination, customer service, or marketing advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Proficiency in cold calling and cold emailing techniques for lead generation.
- Proven ability to accurately complete detailed documents for international and domestic shipments.
- Experience organizing and scheduling shipments with warehouses and trucking companies.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to promptly respond to emails.
- Analytical skills to conduct market research on dairy, grains, currency, and energy markets.
- Experience updating social media accounts and organizing marketing campaigns.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, and proactive willingness to learn.
