About the role
- Accurately prepare detailed shipping documents for international and domestic dairy shipments
- Organize and schedule shipments with warehouses, trucking companies, and final customers; coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Prioritize and promptly respond to emails from stakeholders including warehouses, suppliers, and customers
- Analyze global dairy, grains, currency, and energy markets and update Excel charts/graphs/tables for USDA reports
- Generate leads for agricultural farmers and individuals enrolling in Medicare; prepare personalized emails and quotes; schedule meetings and calls
- Prepare and execute postcard and email campaigns, newsletters; update and manage social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter)
- Coordinate logistics with freight brokers and trucking firms to ensure timely operations
- Maintain accurate documentation and support marketing and lead-generation efforts
Requirements
- Working Hours: EST
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in administrative roles, logistics coordination, customer service, or marketing (advantageous)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced) and Microsoft Word
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools
- Experience using CRM systems
- Proficiency in cold calling and cold emailing techniques for lead generation
- Proven ability to accurately complete detailed documents for international and domestic shipments
- Experience coordinating shipments with warehouses, trucking companies, and freight brokers
- Strong customer service skills and ability to prioritize/respond to stakeholder emails
- Analytical skills to conduct market research on dairy, grains, currency, and energy markets
- Experience updating social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter) and organizing marketing campaigns
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong written/verbal communication
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
