About the role
- Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability studies to identify needs and pain points.
- Create personas, journey maps, and user flows to guide design decisions.
- Analyze product usage data (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Hotjar) to inform iterations.
- Translate insights into low-fidelity sketches and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Iterate quickly, testing designs with stakeholders and users before development.
- Deliver pixel-perfect designs for web and mobile interfaces.
- Define interaction patterns, animations, and micro-interactions that enhance usability.
- Ensure consistency across platforms by maintaining component libraries and style guides.
- Build and maintain scalable design systems that include typography, color palettes, icons, and reusable components.
- Incorporate WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards into all designs.
- Partner with product managers to define scope and priorities.
- Work with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately, using Zeplin, Figma Dev Mode, or InVision Inspect.
- Gather user feedback after launches and measure product performance.
- Run A/B tests on UI variations to validate improvements.
Requirements
- 2+ years professional product design experience.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and responsive layouts.
- Solid understanding of UX principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
