About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and service a portfolio of personal lines accounts, providing timely and professional support to clients.
  • Maintain accurate client records, policy documentation, and account activity within the agency management system and electronic files.
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships by delivering responsive, high-quality customer service.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, insurance carrier representatives, and internal team members.
  • Prepare and maintain client-facing presentation documents and policy-related materials.
  • Review new business and renewal policies for accuracy, requesting corrections and following up as needed.
  • Process policy change requests, endorsements, billing items, and related service transactions in a timely manner.
  • Issue new and renewal automobile ID cards and other policy documentation as needed.
  • Utilize carrier online systems to process service requests, obtain information, and support account activity.
  • Market new and renewal business as needed, including carrier selection, online rating, and coverage analysis.
  • Respond to client claim inquiries, direct clients to the appropriate carrier resources, and provide support throughout the claims process as needed.
  • Stay informed on personal insurance products, carrier guidelines, technology platforms, and industry best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of personal lines insurance experience preferred
  • Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty insurance license required
  • Associate degree required
  • Experience with EPIC agency management system preferred
  • Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products, coverages, rating, policy servicing, and carrier procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and carrier online platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take initiative in a remote work environment
  • Strategic thinker with strong comparative and technical insurance knowledge
  • Self-motivated, client-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional service
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members.
