About the role

  • Define reference architectures and architectural guidelines for development and infrastructure.
  • Document and align solution architectures with business strategies.
  • Develop and maintain the technology evolution roadmap, including modernization and cloud migration.
  • Establish governance frameworks to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Plan integration and interoperability strategies across different platforms.
  • Produce reports and recommendations on new technologies and trends.
  • Ensure adherence to defined patterns, ADRs and architectural strategies.
  • Influence technical direction and foster collaboration across teams.
  • Work proactively to ensure systems are scalable, resilient and secure.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in software architecture with a technical background as an engineer, tech lead, or architect.
  • Previous experience working with agile teams, methodologies, and development metrics.
  • Deep knowledge of software design (Hexagonal, Onion, Clean Architecture, etc.) and design patterns.
  • Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps, container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS), and automation.
  • Familiarity with RESTful protocols, gRPC, GraphQL, and WebSocket.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of observability (SLA, SLI, SLO, DORA metrics, SRE).
  • Experience in cybersecurity and distributed computing.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) (preferred).
  • Experience with observability platforms (Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana) (preferred).
  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures and resilience techniques (preferred).
