About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct investment due diligence, including reviewing diligence reports, interviewing industry experts, and attending management meetings and site visits
Perform financial analysis, including detailed LBO modelling and scenario testing
Prepare investment memoranda and participate in Investment Committee discussions
Monitor portfolio asset performance and assess waiver and amendment requests
Assist senior investment team members in building relationships with sponsors and other external parties
Source, execute, and monitor direct lending investments across the UK and Benelux markets

Requirements

What you’ll need

2-5 years of relevant work experience in a buyside investment role (private credit / private equity), debt advisory, management consulting, investment banking (leveraged finance, M&A) or transaction services
Passion for investing in mid-market companies
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop close relationships with UK and Benelux industry participants over time
Proficient in Excel, with demonstrated ability to build and develop LBO models
Excellent academic record with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top UK university or equivalent institution
Fluent oral and written English skills
Dutch language skills would also be advantageous
Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
