About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct investment due diligence, including reviewing diligence reports, interviewing industry experts, and attending management meetings and site visits
  • Perform financial analysis, including detailed LBO modelling and scenario testing
  • Prepare investment memoranda and participate in Investment Committee discussions
  • Monitor portfolio asset performance and assess waiver and amendment requests
  • Assist senior investment team members in building relationships with sponsors and other external parties
  • Source, execute, and monitor direct lending investments across the UK and Benelux markets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in a buyside investment role (private credit / private equity), debt advisory, management consulting, investment banking (leveraged finance, M&A) or transaction services
  • Passion for investing in mid-market companies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop close relationships with UK and Benelux industry participants over time
  • Proficient in Excel, with demonstrated ability to build and develop LBO models
  • Excellent academic record with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top UK university or equivalent institution
  • Fluent oral and written English skills
  • Dutch language skills would also be advantageous
  • Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
