About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct assessments of buildings to evaluate the condition of the building systems
  • Provide recommendations for immediate repairs
  • Use observations and industry standards to determine future building system replacements
  • Conduct appropriate site reconnaissance, data compilation and organization, and project research (historical, regulatory, etc.)
  • Technical report authoring and preparation of quality supporting documents (maps, appendices, etc.)
  • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones to ensure project progress status is on schedule
  • Effectively communicate project progress and any issues as they arise to the Project Manager and client
  • Provide solid recommendations and solutions to the Project Manager and client
  • Coordinate and respond to requests for changes in project scope

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Bachelors or Graduate Degree in Architecture or related Engineering Field (Civil, Mechanical, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience in architecture, engineering and/or construction/cost estimating
  • 3+ years of experience performing property inspections
  • 2+ years of experience completing similar work for financial institutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and provide own transportation to and from project sites
