About the role
- Design, build, and deploy cloud-native and serverless applications on AWS
- Leverage AWS services and APIs to implement scalable, resilient architectures
- Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, automated deployments
- Participate in planning, requirements definition, development, testing, and quality assurance
- Manage and support multi-account AWS environments, including networking, compute, monitoring, and security
- Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and access controls
- Investigate and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and remediation
- Create and maintain technical documentation such as architecture diagrams, threat models, and user guides
- Collaborate closely with project managers, client stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as:
- JavaScript / TypeScript / Node.js
- Python
- Java, Go, C#, Ruby
- Bash / PowerShell
- Practical experience with AWS services such as:
- Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, S3
- EventBridge, Step Functions
- DynamoDB, SQS
- CloudWatch, KMS
- Experience provisioning infrastructure using IaC tools (e.g., CloudFormation; Terraform or CDK a plus)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tooling (e.g., CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy)
- Strong understanding of cloud and application security, particularly for APIs and distributed systems
- Experience using Git for source control
- One or more AWS certifications (Associate level or higher) strongly preferred.
