About the role
- Lead the automation testing efforts for the Match API platform and its constituent domain services
- Champion quality throughout the entire lifecycle and advocate continuous testing
- Advocate for best practices across disciplines, fostering a quality mindset within the whole engineering area
- Lead refinement sessions, covering acceptance tests, risks, and monitoring
- Review requirements to identify gaps, risks, and dependencies
- Ensure automation test frameworks are relevant, efficient, and resilient
- Collaborate with the team to find the root cause of issues and pair with engineers across teams to ensure adequate test coverage during development
- Help the team estimate test efforts and dependencies during planning and create a collaborative environment where quality is a team effort
Requirements
- +8 years of experience as a SDET
- +3 years as a QA Lead
- Strong experience with Cypress and TypeScript
- Experience with Playwright or Cypress and JavaScript
- Experience with JMeter, Postman, SoapUI, and other API testing tools
- Experience with Postgres and Dynamo Db
- Experience with DynamoDB
- Experience with Jira
- Good knowledge of AWS CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools (CircleCi or TravisCi)
- Experience with Python
- Excellent English communication skills
