About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare plans, reports, and studies for review
  • Direct technicians and EITs in producing engineering documents for routine projects accurately and efficiently
  • Interface with clients when appropriate alongside Project Managers
  • Visit construction sites to observe progress and determine general conformance to engineering plans and specifications
  • Research design criteria, regulations, and standards related to projects and incorporate them into design documents
  • Mentor others in proficient use of design software
  • Lead structural design and analysis for building and infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with Parkhill’s integrated MEP/S team to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and constructible solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering required
  • Passed the Professional Engineer exam and able to provide a PE license number
  • Minimum of 10 years of structural building design experience in a consulting role
  • Ability to use Revit/BIM preferred
