About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Engineer, independently or with minimal supervision, in applying engineering technology principles, methods, and techniques
  • Perform non-routine and complex Computer Aided Design (CAD) planning for projects of varying size and scope
  • Prepare CAD layouts for complete drawing packages
  • Assist in selecting and preparing applicable standard details
  • Assist in developing and preparing non-standard and complex design details
  • Prepare basic layouts of project elements such as structural foundation and framing systems
  • Use computerized design software and other relevant computerized tools to prepare design assignments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 0–6 years of experience in Computer Aided Design for structural engineering projects
  • Ideally possess a working knowledge of building projects
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of team members
