About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare reports, plans, construction schedules and studies for review
- Interface with Clients when appropriate alongside Project Managers
- Visit construction sites to observe progress and determine general conformance to engineering plans and specifications
- Direct technicians and EIT’s for production of engineering documents for routine projects accurately and efficiently
- Research design criteria, regulations, and standards as they relate to projects and incorporate them into design documents
- Mentor others in the proficient use of design software
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Passed the Professional Engineer exam and can provide a PE #
- Previous mechanical building design experience in a consultant capacity
- The ability to use Revit/BIM is required and ability to use Trane Trace 3D is preferred.
