Project Architect – K-12
ParkhillProject Architect providing project-wide design and technical leadership for K-12 initiatives at Parkhill's architectural firm. Collaborating with Project Managers and clients to ensure project success.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides project-wide design and technical leadership, oversight, and coordination
- Serves as Professional of Record on projects of various scales and complexity
- Applies sound professional judgement and technical expertise to guide project execution
- Partners with Project Managers in development and maintenance of scope, budget, schedule, and labor resource plans
- Translates project scope into coordinated deliverables and documentation strategies
- Prepares, reviews and oversees production of drawings, specifications, and other required technical documentation
- Leads Construction Administration and resolution of design-related issues
- Leads interface with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors regarding design and technical related aspects of the project
- Implements and oversees Parkhill’s quality control, risk management and project delivery standard practices for the project design and deliverables
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Professional Architecture License required
- 5+ years of relevant architectural experience
- Demonstrated capability to assume project-wide architectural responsibility
- Experience supporting and coordinating project controls and Construction Administration
- Proficiency with architectural design software, including Revit, MOS, and Bluebeam
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
