About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare plans, reports, and studies for review.
- Direct technicians and EIT’s for production of engineering documents for routine projects accurately and efficiently.
- Interface with Clients when appropriate alongside Project Managers.
- Visit construction sites to observe progress and determine general conformance to engineering plans and specifications.
- Research design criteria, regulations, and standards as they relate to projects and incorporate them into design documents.
- Mentor others in the proficient use of design software.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering required.
- Passed the Professional Engineer exam and can provide a PE license number.
- The ability to use Revit/BIM is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of structural building design experience in a consulting role.
