About the role
- Assist in engineering efforts of design calculations, system layout and sizing for HVAC and plumbing.
- Prepare engineering documents for routine projects accurately and effectively.
- Assists with construction phase services as directed by project engineer.
- Uses computerized design software, including Autodesk Revit, and other relevant computerized tools to prepare design assignments.
- Collaborate with team members on design specifications and timelines.
- Perform field construction observation work when necessary, under minimal supervision.
- Work with our industry experts to develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs for public and private clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- EIT obtained or obtainable within 6 months of hire.
- Experience in Revit/BIM is preferred.
- Excellent client and team communication.
- Possess the ability to adapt and adjust as challenges present themselves.
- Self-motivated and resourceful in solving challenges in mechanical engineering.
