About the role
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budget management.
- Oversee project development and execution, ensuring adherence to plans and timelines.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Lead cross-functional project teams including software engineers, developers, designers, and QA specialists.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams; communicate complex technical concepts to varied stakeholders.
- Act as primary point of contact for project stakeholders; manage stakeholder feedback and reporting.
- Ensure final product meets quality standards; organize testing phases and coordinate with QA.
- Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and recommend solutions to resource or budget constraints.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans, meeting minutes, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management, leading software development or IT infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with programming languages and IT infrastructure.
- Proficient in tools like Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or other project management software.
- Certifications preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or related certifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities, experience mentoring and coaching team members.
- High level of organization and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Background in cybersecurity, data management, or enterprise architecture (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s/MBA is a plus).
