Ensure optimal corporate organisation, company secretarial and governance support to key legal entities and compliance with legal and regulatory obligations
Oversee corporate administration including preparation of board resolutions, meeting minutes, and regulatory filings
Monitor critical deadlines, coordinate legal workflows, and ensure timely delivery of tasks
Advise on shareholder matters, delegation frameworks and internal governance requirements
Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts and legal agreements as needed
Provide accurate and timely advice to internal stakeholders, including senior management
Apply risk management techniques and proactively address potential legal issues
Communicate, negotiate and manage relationships with external parties (service providers, partners, external counsel, public authorities)
Manage complex matters with multiple stakeholders and keep up-to-date with industry legal developments
Requirements
Qualified corporate lawyer with minimum 3+ PQE
Trained in private practice
Minimum of 6 months in-house experience (permanent role or client secondment)
Strong knowledge and experience of UK and EU corporate law
Experience drafting and negotiating commercial software agreements (advantage)
Knowledge of IP, privacy and data protection (advantage)
Experience or interest in Docusign, Asana and Legal AI
Commercially aware, strong communicator and calm under pressure
Self-motivated, accountable, able to work independently and take ownership
Prior knowledge of blockchain is advantageous; interest in learning about blockchain, open source and decentralised systems
