About the role
- Build and maintain high-quality, user-friendly web applications that connect developers and users to Polkadot
- Collaborate across engineering, design, and product teams to deliver interfaces and tools
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications, products, and developer tools for the Polkadot ecosystem
- Integrate applications with blockchain APIs and decentralized infrastructure
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code using TypeScript, React, Solidity and related frameworks
- Contribute to Parity’s open-source projects, participating in reviews and architecture discussions
Requirements
- Proven experience developing and maintaining production-grade web applications (ideally with TypeScript, React, or similar frameworks)
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component-driven development, and modern build pipelines
- Familiarity with Rust, WebAssembly (Wasm), or blockchain API integrations
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed, open-source environment, contributing to shared codebases and reviews
