About the role

  • Technical leadership in implementing and evolving an eProcurement solution within client projects
  • Develop and deliver requirements in SAP ERP / S/4HANA environments using SAP UI5 (Fiori framework), OData and ABAP OO
  • Create and extend UI5 applications on the SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) or on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • User-centric design and mockup planning, design and concept development together with the client
  • Participate in complex software development projects, including drafting technical specifications and producing software documentation
  • Implement enhancements, BAdIs, reports, workflows — everything required to realize client requirements as close to standard (and modification-free) as possible
  • Interface programming (IDoc, BAPI, ALE, SOAP) and maintenance of interfaces to non‑SAP systems
  • Configure and implement processes optimally in SAP products
  • Provide technical consulting and act as an interface to our functional consultants and internal stakeholders
  • Transfer knowledge and mentor colleagues

Requirements

  • Experience in client projects from requirements gathering through to project completion
  • Strong knowledge of ABAP OO, Web Dynpro, SAP Workflow, BRF+, web services, SOAP, EDI, IDoc, RFC, JSON, XML
  • Nice to have: experience with SAP SRM, SAP Cloud Platform (SCP), HTML5 and JavaScript
  • Nice to have: process knowledge in procurement or materials management
  • Initial experience with Fiori, SAP UI5 and HANA
  • Basic knowledge and hands-on experience in customizing, development and delivery of SAP projects, primarily in materials management
  • Know-how in preparing technical concepts and solution proposals
  • Openness to new technologies, willingness to learn and flexibility in your work
  • Motivation to independently implement requirements in the client’s best interest
  • Willingness and drive to improve yourself and others (feedback culture)
  • Self‑management to structure your day and proactively handle assigned tasks
  • Business-fluent German and English (you should be able to communicate professionally with clients and an international team)
