About the role
- Support a globally accessible enterprise information infrastructure supporting joint warfighters and national-level leaders across military operations.
- Operate Oracle Databases in Oracle Solaris 11 environments.
- Install Solaris 11 Support Repository Updates (SRU) and Interim Diagnostics and Relief (IDR) patches.
- Provision and patch Solaris zones.
- Manage client projects independently, including phone calls and meetings as required.
- Deliver high-quality work within reasonable turnaround times.
- Troubleshoot, problem-solve, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Communicate effectively with attention to detail.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, and work experience.
- Oracle Database 19c Administration in UNIX environments.
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in Oracle 19c, Solaris 11, Database Tables, Data Guard Replication and Logical Migration.
- Industry certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISA).
- Extensive knowledge of provisioning and patching Solaris zones.
- Thorough understanding of Oracle database principles and commands.
