About the role
- Provide BD support focused on federal opportunity research, opportunity tracking, and proposal support deliverables.
- Manage own work schedule and methods while meeting agreed-upon deliverables and timelines.
- Conduct federal opportunity research across SAM.gov, GovWin, and related sources.
- Provide written summaries of relevant opportunities and manage pipeline updates.
- Support all proposal responses through research, drafting, and formatting to include outreach.
- Maintain organized records of BD activities and deliverables.
- Coordinate deliverables and timelines with Paragon leadership and external partners.
- Additional duties as agreed upon.
- If converted to W-2, responsibilities may expand to include ongoing BD pipeline and CRM management, deeper proposal coordination and internal scheduling, increased ownership of BD operations and reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with leadership and delivery teams.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience supporting federal business development, capture, or proposals.
- Familiarity with government contracting concepts and terminology.
- Strong research, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Clear written communication.
- Ability to work independently and manage deliverables.
- Experience supporting full life cycle proposals (Shipley preferred).
- Familiarity with DoD or civilian agencies to incldue forecasting and reseaching.
- Experience with GovWin, SAM.gov, or CRM tools.
- Interest in cybersecurity or IT services.
