About the role
- **ROLE OVERVIEW****The IT Support Consultant will provide on-demand IT services including endpoint setup, tenant administration, and on-site technical support at our test center. The contractor will manage their own schedule while responding to tasks and service requests within agreed upon timeframes.
- **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (CONTRACT SCOPE)****
- Perform on-site updates and maintenance for PCs at Paragon’s test center and corporate office (as required)**
- Configure and deploy new corporate laptops (imaging, security, user setup)**
- Provide remote administration support for Microsoft 365 / Entra ID tenant**
- Execute administrative support and updates for Google Workspace tenant**
- Troubleshoot endpoint, access, and account issues**
- Implement security best practices as directed**
- Document work performed and provide clear handoff notes
- Additional duties as agreed upon
Requirements
- **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS****
- Proven experience providing IT support in small to mid-size environments**
- Hands-on experience with Windows endpoints and laptop deployment**
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 and identity environments**
- Experience with Google Workspace administration**
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks without daily supervision**
- Must be local to the Tampa Bay area and available for on-site work as needed
- **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS****
- Experience supporting testing centers or secure environments**
- Familiarity with cybersecurity or compliance-driven organizations**
- Experience supporting government contractors or regulated clients
