About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide executive-level (CIO/CTO) leadership to clients
Establish IT strategy and 2-year technology plans for clients
Partner with Senior Engineers and Onsite Field Engineers
Learn and understand clients’ industry-specific IT requirements
Develop innovative IT initiatives and projects
Communicate project progress and ensure client satisfaction
Analyze Network Assessments and Security Audit reports
Present solutions to clients during Technical Business Review meetings
Manage 25 - 30 client accounts and foster positive relationships
Handle client issues and escalations with professionalism

Requirements

What you’ll need

A bachelor’s degree in a related field
An advanced degree, such as an MBA, IT-related certifications, project management certifications
Previous Technical Account Manager (or similar role/title) experience at Managed IT Service Provider
8–10 + years of related experience in related business and/or technology
Strong consultative skills with a background in IT related Services offerings
Client presentations and gaining the buy-in of C-level executives
Sales and customer care within a technology-related environment
Building project plans and detailed scopes of work
Managing and monitoring projects
High-level, professional communication with C-level executives
Able to travel up to 50% of the time
