About the role
- Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping, including managing accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations
- Own monthly financial reporting and ensure timely and accurate record-keeping
- Manage company payments, payroll coordination, and invoicing processes
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors
- Improve and maintain financial systems and controls as the company grows
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance
- Proficient with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks) and Excel/Google Sheets
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus
