About the role
- Spearhead strategic planning, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement of the Workday platform
- Align Workday with business goals, drive adoption, and manage governance across the FinTech ecosystem
- Own delivery and execution of Workday system changes, configurations, and enhancements across multiple modules (e.g., FINS, HCM, Adaptive Planning)
- Translate Finance, HR and business requirements into functional designs and configurations, working closely with Workday SMEs and stakeholders
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of system changes and related projects: requirements gathering, configuration, testing, documentation, training, deployment, and budget oversight
- Hands-on Workday configuration including business processes, security roles, calculated fields, condition rules, and reporting
- Partner with IT and vendors to manage integrations, data loads, security updates, and system performance
- Support Workday release cycles: analyse new features, assess impacts, lead testing, and drive adoption
- Provide day-to-day system support and troubleshooting with Finance and HR to resolve issues promptly
- Maintain system documentation, data integrity controls, audit logs, and compliance standards with robust change management processes
- Lead Workday reporting, dashboards, and analytics governance initiatives
- Develop training materials and support structures to ensure user proficiency and smooth adoption
Requirements
- Significant hands-on Workday configuration experience across multiple modules
- Proven track record of delivering system changes and enhancements in Workday within a global or multi-country environment
- Deep understanding of Finance and HR processes, data structures, security models, and system dependencies
- Strong collaboration skills across HR, IT, vendors, and stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and delivering under tight timelines
- Workday certifications or advanced configuration training strongly preferred
- Fluent in English (spoken & written)
- Nice-to-have: Workday certifications (FINS, HCM, Reporting, etc.) or equivalent expertise
- Nice-to-have: Experience managing integrations and support workflows
