About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide overall leadership, technical oversight and day-to-day management of the project
Ensure results-oriented implementation in line with the requirements of the AF, the PACT, and the MRTCDLG
Lead and manage the Project Execution Unit (PEU) established under the project
Coordinate the work of technical staff, consultants, contractors, and service providers
Report to the MRTCDLG and work in close coordination with PACT’s Adaptation Fund Project Coordinator (AFPC)
Establish and maintain robust monitoring and evaluation systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum of nine (9) years of general work experience
A minimum of seven (7) years of specific work experience in managing projects
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent stakeholder coordination and communication abilities
Experience with results-based management and M&E frameworks
Knowledge of Belize or similar socio-economic contexts is an asset
