About the role
- Utilizes basic engineering principles to help operations and maintenance departments comply with Corrosion Federal Regulations
- Cathodic protection system design, cathodic protection system troubleshooting and repair, corrosion failure analysis
- Technical consultation
- Writing and revising PG&E standards related to corrosion control
- Below and above grade coating selection and application
- Management of expense and capital projects
- Auditing of corrosion control records
- Information and data gathering, associated with corrosion related activities
- Collaborates and supports the maintenance organizations, corrosion investigations, and the installation of mitigation equipment
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Valid California driver's license on day one of employment
- Knowledge of 49 CFR Part 192, CPUC GO 112E
